I want to install intalio/design in ubuntu. I has had designer.installer.linux-5.1.0.009.zip.

But, I found that that the installer's extension was .exe.

Then, I got another intaller, intaliano designer.installer.win-5.1.0.022.jar.

I guest, it is for windows. But I tried to use it for installing designer following the installation tutorial.

The Installation was success. But, the intalio |designer file launcher's extension is .exe again. I can't use it.

Can someone help me?

I downloaded the designer.distribs.ce.linux-5.2.0.115.tar and i extract it, but i didn't know how to install, help me for this, i am new to this.

Make sure you have java installed, doing:

sudo apt-get install sun-java6-jre

then go to the folder you extracted from the archive and double-click on eclipse (or designer, can't remember if we rename it).

I din't have eclipse in my linux machine, i have installed the java1.6. And i extracted the tar file in /var/www/html
