I note that issue ODE 315 "Support XSLT's document() function - Xpath 1.0" is marked as resolved at 1.2 of ODE ... did this make it to current Intalio CE? If not , when will it?
Is there a way of telling what fixes that have been applied to ode, tempo, axis2 .... have made it to Intalio release? The release notes do not seem to cover that.

Basically, my understanding is that Intalio should (through ODE) allow all standard XPATH and XSLT functions. In particular, xml documents may be referenced (READ) by the XPATH doc() function, or XLST document() function via BPEL:doXSLTransform().

Confirmed that XSL function document() works ok now. Attached is a project that demonstrates accessing xml file. The xsl & xml files are taken from the testcase for the ODE296 issue supplied by Ciaran Jessup. The target xml (language.xml) should be placed in [BPMS]/bin for this project to work as is.

Thanks for checking that David. Eventually if you feel like mentioning the workaround on the ODE Jira that'd be great.

Thanks,

Antoine
