Integration with Tivoli/ Custom Perl scripts 2 Months, 3 Weeks ago Karma: 0
Hi,

I am evaluating Intalio.

Found that it provides an excellent way to integrate external systems via web services; provided my external tasks can be encapsulated and exposed as web services.

In my current business, I have a bunch of scripts (written in PERL) that I use to automate my infrastructure management.

Also I plan to employ IBM Tivoli and other IBM infrastructure management tools going forward.

Are web services the only way to integrate them with Intalio (execute specific tasks in them or get information from)

Yes, it is the best way to integrate with Intalio. If you need something in particular (to integrate), feel free to open a D3 request for it.

Thanks,

Antoine
