Network call for local WSDL calls 3 Months, 1 Week ago Karma: 0
Hi,

I would like to know if a web service is hosted on the same web server on which Intalio server is running, are the calls to such web services short-circuited ? I understand that the calls will have to be wrapped in SOAP envelope but does the call go through the normal HTTP or, for greater efficiency, there is some direct connection to call the web service operation ?

Thanks.

No there is no optimization done, everything goes through HTTP unless you are calling an Intalio process from an Intalio process.
You are not obliged to use SOAP though, you can use plain HTTP, although it is not recommended.
I hope that answers your question.
