Intalio|Workflow allows users to attach documents in various formats when performing a task.
The purpose of this feature is to integrate Alfresco (http://dev.alfresco.com/) ECM to manage those documents.

Is this something on the roadmap, or something that is theoretically possible?
Can you please get into a little more detail about the integration of a ECM (Alfresco) and the workflow system?

I am currently evaluating this system how it combines workflow and document management... attachements, version control, lifecycle, ...

I am very interested in hearing any experience in this field.

Hi,

It is something that is being asked by some of our users so we let the possibility to the Community to define in details the feature through our Demand Driven Development task.

Currently workflow documents that are attached to a task are stored in the Workflow database. The aim of this feature would be to integrate Alfresco to store those documents and use all the features available in Alfresco to manage those documents.

I hope it helps,

Arnaud

It would be nice if we could use the mapper to connect xml schema (Xfroms) to ALfresco aspects.

This D3 feature request is now available for subscription!

As a reminder, you can do partial sponsorship, and 50% of what you pay for a D3 feature is credited back to you in future Intalio support subscription.

You can find feature details in the D3 request here.

Feedback is welcome!

Thanks,

Shao.

1. I've read that "Ability to attach meta-data to an attached document" is out of scope of the Alfresco integration. Is there any plan to implement that functionality?
It will be really useful to add not only file, but its aspects, type and additional properties (mapped i.e. with names) too.

2. Is there any a limitation of size of an attachment?

Regards,
Marcin
