Well, no. As I told you, the instances that are running will terminate with their current settings. There is no migration of the running instances.

There are some tricks to help the migration of processes, and one is to use little processes, that can be updated easily separately.

ok, I knew the trick of " use little processes" , but sometimes, if you have a long time process (for example: Government records), and creating a new law with retroactive, what do you do?

You should not use processes to last over a long period of time, for this reason and for its reliability.
