Change timer duration 2 Months, 3 Weeks ago Karma: 0
Hello.

Again I have a problem with the timer object. I need to be able to change a timer duration. Is there a way to achieve that ?
I precise that the timer has already been started. For instance, if it is started with 6 hours, after an event it should be changed to 3 minutes or to 12 hours...

Thanks in advance for any help

Carrying on from previous example ...

Just put the timer and logic that sets time value in a looping subprocess which loops until the timer has completed (follow the timer event with an activity to set a variable for the loop). Pass the new time in as part of the interrupting message.

Similarly with Antoine's approach having a message interrupt the subprocess ... wrap it in another looping subprocess.
