hi all,
Can java calls be made using the designer or without using it, without exposing java functionality as a web service ? thanks in advance, Chandan.

You could eventually use an ESB like Mule or a container like ServiceMix, integrated with ODE.
We are working on a POJO connector that should allow you to do a call simply.
Thanks,
Antoine

Hi,
Just wondering if the POJO connector can be used now ? I wish to call a Java application and would like to try ESB. Is there and document that you can point me to that would give me an introduction on how to integrate and use Mule ESB or ServiceMix with Intalio's designer.

It won't ship with 5.2. You should search for mule in the forums, I remember there was one post dealing with it.
