Christophe,
There may be a problme in the jdk installation, so please uninstall jdk from Start > Setting > Control Panel > Add or Remove Progrms > select the J2SE Environment, then click on remove. And re-install it in any drive (say c:\), set the environment variables (please make sure it is working fine).
Now install the designer from scratch and try to open it (and let me know the result).
Thanks, Shivanand.

Is there anything in the ".log" file?
Thanks, Pascal.

Hi Pascal,
I didn't find any ERROR in the .log file attached by Christophe,
as it looks very normal when I starts my designer.
Here is the log file attached earlier: 16:31:00 [root] WARN - Configured log4j with bundleentry://4/conf/log4j-dist.xml for product. 16:31:04 [n3.designer.process.bpeldata.expressions.model.internal] INFO - Reading bundleentry://6/help/xpath-functions.xml 16:31:04 [n3.designer.process.bpeldata.expressions.model.internal] INFO - Reading bundleentry://6/help/xpath-constructors.xml
Thanks, Shivanand.

Hi again,
I un- and reinstalled the jdk several times as well, set the environment variables and everything, but unfortunately nothing works.
I´m glad the Designer works fine on my laptop, although this isn´t optimal to work with.
Hope it perhaps works again with a new version of the designer.
Thanks,
Christophe

Christophe, Shivanand, just to clarify, there are 2 files. Christophe only attached "designer.log". There is an other file called ".log" which might have important information. Can you attach that file as well, Christophe? Did designer ever work on that machine? Did you try to install a version of eclipse. You can dowload from eclipse.orgI'm interested to find out whether that version would work or not. Thanks, Pascal.

Pascal,
Intalio, when installed the first time on this machine, worked. I tried the HelloWorld Sample, everything was fine. Then suddenly, I think it was during the PIPA tutorial, came the error window. Since then I the designer starts and immediately shuts down again becuase of the JVM that terminates. Un- and reinstallation didn't solve the problem.
As for the log-files: I know I didn't attach the ".log" file but only "designer.log". As I wrote earlier, a ".log" file has not been created.
I will try and install eclipse from eclipse.org in order to find out if the problem persists. I will let you know what happened.
Thanks
Christophe
