I have the same problem, but i havent antivirus -ubuntu- and i need to have proxy for connection. I tried "intalio/admin - changeit" and "admin - changeit" but nothing, always fails.
Console Geronimo responds but bpms-console says "The user identifier or password you provided is invalid" and fails with:
10:21:09,779 ERROR [LoginController] Error during login java.lang.SecurityException: org.apache.axis2.AxisFault: Connection refused at org.intalio.tempo.web.controller.LoginController.authenticate(LoginController.java:278) at org.intalio.tempo.web.controller.LoginController.authenticate(LoginController.java:308) at org.intalio.tempo.web.controller.LoginController.logIn(LoginController.java:328) at sun.reflect.NativeMethodAccessorImpl.invoke0(Native Method) at sun.reflect.NativeMethodAccessorImpl.invoke(NativeMethodAccessorImpl.java:39) .....
Any help? any idea? G

That's due to the configuration of your machine. You need to make sure there is nothing blocking the access to port 8080 locally. Not sure what might be our issue.
Thanks,

I have offset (real port is 8090) and any services blocks it...
Thanks in advance, G

Try to do a telnet 8090 while being logged on the machine, and a nestat -anp.
If you have some kind of support from Canonical, you can try to contact them.
Otherwise I'd look on forums dedicated to linux and J2EE app servers.
Thanks,
Antoine
