user attribute 9 Months, 3 Weeks ago

Hi
How do I use the user attribute that is output with a form, pass it to a second form, and have it displayed in a field on the second form?
I've tried a number of ways to do this. I'm finding I either display the name of the second user when the second form is opened, rather than the first user that I intend, or the field gets disabled because the node value changes when the second form is opened.
I've now run out of ideas. I've referenced the attribute directly within the xform, both as an input and output, I've put some xpath in the mapper and linked it to the input on the second form, ... how best to do this?
I'm thinking this is probably very simple, but I'm learning ...
Thanks in advance,
Jason

Hi Jason, Please provide the project files to examine the process data mapping.
Thanks, Shivanand

RESOLVED I simply confused myself switching between user accounts on the browser. It was achieved, as I had suspected, by mapping @user attribute to the input field on the form.
I unconfused myself by looking at the data section of a running process on the ui-fw interface. A good tip for newbies like me.
Curiously, I had posted on the forum that it was closed within minutes of realising my mistake and got every indication that the post had been successful, but clearly it didn't register. Sorry for wasting your time.
