Description:

This use case replica demonstrates how Intalio|BPMS function with multiple users tasks what the process called as 'MultipleUserTasks', i.e. the ability for user to initiate with a PIPA form upon his choice to communicate simultaneously with multiple user tasks and notifications.

Scenario:

Employee logs in Intalio|BPMS Workflow UI to start process by submitting PIPA form upon selection of choice to obtain multiple user task forms to complete the process flow.

Process Download & Import:

  1. Download 'MultipleUserTasks.zip'.
  2. Go to File > Import...
  3. Select 'Existing Projects into Workspace', in the wizard, click on Next >
  4. Browse to select the downloaded archive file, click to Finish.
  5. Update project builders by right click on project; go to BPMS Designer Tools > Update BPMS Builders.

 

Requirements:

  1. Intalio|BPMS Server-5.1
  2. Intalio|BPMS Designer-5.1.

 

Process Deployment & Execution:

  1. Click on Deploy Project to Intalio|BPMS Server button in tool bar.
  2. Make sure you select all runtime files while exporting to Intalio|BPMS Server.
  3. Also verify & check 'Deploy forms' choice before click on Finish button.
  4. Open a web browser, provide url as: http://localhost:8080/ui-fw which takes to login screen for bpms-console.
  5. Login with the following credentials:
    username: intalio\admin' (without quotes).
    password: 'changeit' (without quotes).
  6. Switch to processes tab, you should see 'Initiate.xform' name in the list, click to Start.
  7. A Form with three choices (radio buttons) will be available, choose your pick and hit on 'start process' button.
  8. After a successful completion, workflow ui automatically switches to Tasks tab to that perticular user, where you will find task according to your choice.
  9. An error notification will be available if you didn't select any choice.
  10. You may complete the process from this point.
